Seaman's book is being issued to the citizens of the Republic of Lithuania and foreigners who have permanent residence permit of the Republic of Lithuania.
Seaman's book is being issued:
- for the period of validity of passport of the citizen of the Republic of Lithuania or validity of permanent residence permit not exceeding 5 years, with possibility to renew the seaman's book for the period of 5 years if the passport or residence permit is still valid;
- for the period of one year - to person who does not have seagoing service experience.
