The order and the conditions of registration of seagoing ships at the Register of Seagoing Ships of the Republic of Lithuania are determined by the Maritime Safety Law of the Republic of Lithuania, Merchant Sipping Law of the Republic of Lithuania, Regulations on Registration of Seagoing Ships of the Republic of Lithuania and other national legal acts. After the registration at the Register of Seagoing Ships of the Republic of Lithuania Lithuanian Maritime Safety Administration Maritime Safety Department’s Ships’ Registration Office issues the appropriate documents.
